Blue Horizons Total Alkalinity Raiser is a fine, rapid dissolving powder which is used for increasing the total alkalinity of pool water.

Supplied in 5kg and 25kg quantities.

If the total alkalinity is low then the pH can fluctuate making it difficult to control and maintain at the ideal level.

If the total alkalinity is high then the pH can be difficult to change and will keep rising.

A high total alkalinity can also lead to the formation of a bicarbonate scale on pool surfaces, within pipework and in plant room equipment.

Ideal pool waters exists when pool water has a total alkalinity of between 80-140mg/l (ppm).

If the total alkalinity of your pool water is below 80mg/l it should be increased using Blue Horizons TA Raiser
