WaterCare Solutions Secures Legionella Control Association (LCA) Membership

WaterCare Solutions is delighted to announce that we have recently obtained Legionella Control Association (LCA) membership, marking us as a UK leader in legionella control services.

The LCA ensures high standards across the legionella and water hygiene sector, holding its members to a number of strict agreements. At WaterCare Solutions, we have more than three decades of experience providing quality services with a commitment to safety, hygiene and best practice.

Learn more about what LCA membership means and how it guarantees our high standards of service below or, to speak to one of our experts, just call us now on 01299 271144

What is LCA Membership and Why Does It Matter?

Founded in 1999, the LCA is closely tied to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). It was created to improve and monitor the quality of legionella control services in the UK and, ultimately, reduce the risk of Legionnaire’s disease. The LCA is entirely voluntary, not-for-profit and managed by a committee with members selected from the British Association for Chemical Specialities (BACS), the Water Management Society (WMSoc) as well as industry experts and health authorities.

In order to gain membership, members must demonstrate their compliance with the LCA’s Code of Conduct, including Standards for Service Delivery for each service they offer. Members are then regularly audited by the LCA to ensure ongoing compliance.

The Code of Conduct and Standards for Service Delivery are closely aligned with guidance from the HSE, including ACOP L8 and HSG274

What LCA Membership Means for WaterCare Solutions’ Clients
