Blue Horizons Stain and Scale Inhibitor

Blue Horizons Stain & Scale Inhibitor is designed to help prevent unsightly metal staining and scale formation on pool surfaces and equipment.
Stain and Scale Inhibitor will help prevent and/or remove unsightly metal or other staining (e.g. from leaves) and also control and/or remove scale.

Application Instructions:

Please ensure that before using this product the sanitiser levels are no greater than 3mg/l (or 3ppm)

1. Backwash the filter/clean cartridge before application.
2. Apply the product as close to the stain as possible with concentrated solution in the problem area. After an hour the circulation system can be turned on for general distribution of the Stain and Scale Inhibitor.
3. Brush the stained and scaled problem area daily for 5 – 7 days following the treatment.
4. Repeat the treatment after a week where heavy staining is a problem but more than double the dose is unlikely to prove of much additional benefit, and do not exceed the dose of 3 litres per 44,550 Litres (10,000 Gallons).

Safety

Although this product is not classified as hazardous the following precautions should apply:-

” Keep locked up and out of reach of children.
” In case of contact with eyes, irrigate thoroughly with water for at least 10 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
” If swallowed seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.
