General

Blue Horizons flockfix cartridges are designed to assist the filtration system in removing small suspended particles to ensure clear sparkling water. In addition they can allow help remove copper, iron, and mangansese from swimming pool water.

Instructions

1. Adjust and maintain the water pH to within the ideal range 7.2-7.6
2. Maintain the total water alkalinity within the ideal range of 80-150mg/l (ppm)
3. Maintain the free chlorine levels within the ideal range of 1-3mg/l (ppm)
4. Backwash the filter and then return to the normal filtration settings prior to use
5. Ensure the skimmer basket is clean and free of any other chemicals or contaminates
6. Add 1 cartridge per 50,000 litres (11,000 gallons) of pool water per week.

Safety

1. Never mix with any other chemicals including cleaning products and chlorine products as a dangerous reaction may occur
2. Handle product in a well ventilated area, preferably outdoors
3. Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection and wash hands after use
4. In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with water
5. After contact with skin wash immediately with plenty of water
6. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention
7. Ensure chemicals do not become damp – store in a cool dry place out of reach of children.
